The architecture and garden setting of the Beijing Friendship Hotel are stunning. however, the room decor felt quite dated and the bathroom needed some repairs. The breakfast offered a great variety, but finding a table could be a bit of a challenge. Overall, it's a decent choice if you're looking for a hotel with character, but don't expect great service.
